I first joined Aidha as a video intern in 2009. Since 2011, I’ve volunteered my skills and expertise in helping to establish the Aidha Communications Team. I built the community guidelines and editorial calendar, managed volunteer contributors and generated content for the monthly Community Newsletters and Facebook Page. Below are several of the newsletters I’ve helped produce and write together with a revolving team of volunteer writers.
In 2016, I became part of a group of veteran mentors and volunteers tasked with updating the Aidha Curriculum to reflect findings of impact assessment studies. I designed and developed 12 90-minute face-to-face workshops on topics ranging from effective written and verbal communications, building interpersonal relationships and personal resilience.
